“You’re Not in a Relationship, You’re in a Rerun”
You’ll know that person is the one for you.
You’ll know it right away
Not because of how loud they come into your life,
But how peacefully they fit into your soul.
Like a missing piece you didn’t even know was gone.
No games. No confusion. Just clarity.
Their energy won’t drain you—it’ll ground you.
And when you look at them,
It won’t be just attraction or chemistry
It’ll feel like coming home.
The right one won’t rush you.
They won’t make you question your worth.
They’ll speak your language even in silence.
And love you loud, even when the world is quiet.
Because when it’s real,
You won’t have to ask.
You’ll feel it.
But here’s the thing
Many people right at this very moment think they’re with their person.
But are you really?
Or are you just with someone who makes you feel needed,
Not seen?
Are you building a future or just repeating a cycle?
And just a side note
If you’re putting restraining orders on each other,
Fighting every other day then “making up” like nothing happened,
If they leave you on read, ignore your calls,
Or keep you guessing about where they are, who they’re with, or why they disappeared
That’s not your person.
That’s a walking red flag you keep painting white.
Love doesn’t have to feel like survival.
Your person will bring you peace, not emotional chaos.
Yes, no one likes to be alone.
We all crave someone to share sunsets, laughter, and new places with.
But ask yourself this:
Wouldn’t it be so much more fulfilling to experience those things alone
With your peace and joy intact
Than with someone who brings you nothing but confusion, misery, and pain?
Because being alone in your peace
Is far better than being together in your suffering.
So again, ask yourself
Are you really with your person…
Or just someone holding the spot where love’s supposed to be ?
